maia's day was today. we went to santa fe to paint pottery. the kids each picked a piece to paint, could you guess who picked what?
max wanted to paint so bad. it didn't take him long to realize that his tray had no paint and then he was really mad. we had to keep him distracted.
caleb worked hard on his and he did a really great job, he is such a little artist, its so fun to watch.
carson worked really hard on his, you have to put on three coats to really make the colors pop. he hung in there till the detail work and then he was bored and wanted to run around and play.
maia was having a lot of fun till a bee stung her ankle. poor thing was so sad. in the end her little fairy was all painted, thanks to her daddy.we had pizza and rented a movie and let the kids eat popcorn and some treats, they thought it was the best! what a fun weekend.
back to school bash is over :( we all had so much fun. we wore out the kids and i think its been a fun memorable weekend. monday school starts and i hope the boys do well!
