We had a fun fourth! our ward here in white rock started this fun tradition over twenty years ago. it has now grown into this fabulous city party. it starts out with a fun kids parade, all the kids decorate their bikes and scooters. then there is a carnival in the grass in the back of the church. there is free popcorn and snow cones. there are games where you earn tickets and then cash them in for prizes. all free and all fun! after the parade and carnival we went to mike and joani's for a BBQ. the kids were so tired we told them they all had to take a nap in order to go to the fireworks.....and they ALL did! crazy, my kids don't take naps anymore. we had a fun party/dinner with friends and walked to the park for the big fireworks. for a small community the fireworks were really good. all in all it was a really great day!

How fun, that sounds like a blast!
I'm glad they left some grass at the church after the landscaping job. It would be much fun to do a three-legged race in a bunch of rocks!
